Just some insights into what makes each of my pages tick…

Tada!! I’m back! (hope at least someone missed me…)

If you guys haven’t guessed it yet, Chapter 2 is really close to finishing. I had wanted to get these last couple pages done before my Costa Rica trip so that I could post them before I left or something, but as they say โ€œthe best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.โ€

Had a lot of fun with this page. I feel that my art is actually beginning to develop more, that or I’m just full of myself >.< However I feel that my writing still has a lot of room for improvement. This project originally began as a way for me to push myself as an artist, not really a writer. Don't get me wrong I do have a plan of where to take the story, but because I write each page as I draw them, without sketching or writing ahead, things turn out a bit...rough to say the least. Anyways I always appreciate any critique any of you may have and I really do listen to it. It's up to you readers if you want this comic to really improve ^^

Hey everybody! Sorry about not getting a page up last week, finals have just finished here at college and I’m exhausted XP

Meant to get this up yesterday, but it took me longer than expected.

Experimented with some more stuff on this page since I try to do something new each time. A lot of hard body positions to draw this time around, but I was mostly impressed with the outcome.

I’m really sorry guys, but I didn’t get those extra pages done for while I’m gone to Costa Rica. Considering that each page takes an average of 8 hours to draw, and I need to draw 3 of them, and I leave in less than 72 hours, it just ain’t gonna happen…

So expect Mutt in the Middle to take a quick three week break while I’m sunning it up down in Costa Rica :3

Well Drake just kinda flung himself onto this page :3

I feel that this page came out only “okay.” It’s a little messier at places than I would care for. I also had to use any kind of markers laying around that I could find because my normal markers are missing O_o

According to normal practice didn’t finish this page till 4 AM this morning, so my brain is feeling kinda fried…..

So remember how I said that I’d get busy and get all those extra pages done over Spring Break? Here’s how that is going, I stayed up till 4 AM last night getting today’s page finished…

Spring Break has just been flying by for me and I wish I could get just a few more days to at least finish those homework assignments handed out during break completed…

So much for beating Odin Sphere while on break, maybe I’ll finish it this summer. At least I finally got to watch Django while on break ๐Ÿ˜€

What’s this? Mel running away from some guards? A cat on the roof with a rope? Another page focused on Drake? No way! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

YAY!! Spring Break is next week and I can’t wait to just lay low for a whole week. Hopefully I’ll get some comic pages done ahead of time during next week.

Come May I’ll be gone for about a month down in Costa Rica. I won’t have the ability to post pages down there so hopefully I’ll have a nice buffer built up by then, or I’ll reach the end of chapter 2 and call for a short break ^^;

Wow!! 50 Pages!!!!!

For awhile it felt like I’d never get here, but it’s here alright. I’m officially “over the hill.” You know what they say, it’s all downhill from here…oh wait maybe that’s just with age or something X3

On this week’s page we finally get to see how Drake has been handling by himself. Well it looks like he’s good for something at least ๐Ÿ˜›

Wow, this page…Remember when I mentioned something about drawing too many small characters per panel on a previous page? Yeah, well this page kinda destroyed that…

I recently realized that most of my humor (whether it is funny or not is up to you) is pretty physical, requiring more visual imagery instead of actual funny lines. This means I have to actually “illustrate” them more than “tell” them.

Also my markers all dried up and I had to use very messy sharpies to finish the page… ๐Ÿ™
