Oh my gosh, this page was challenging to illustrate. O_o
Getting the perspective right on the third frame sucked, and it still came out a little wonky…

Anyways first true action scene, so I’m learning about a lot of things that do and don’t work in this setting. Love to hear some feedback and even better some critique!

Really looking for feedback on this page! I messed up on some spots, so I decided to just try out a new method. I have always worried about characters getting lost in the background, so I tried placing an outline around each character. A good thing? Or did you like the other way better?

I’m going to draw the next few pages like this before deciding, but I would love your feedback! Also, incoming action scene!! Please bear with my first attempt at one of these…

I did it! I basically worked all night long to get it done by today, but it’s here! Okay, so maybe that’s a little of an exaggeration, but I was up till about 3 AM working on it.

Not completely sure how I feel about the finished product. When I draw a page I end up going through 3 or 4 different panel layouts till I find the one I like. For this page though, I could never land on one that really seemed to fit. I eventually fell back to my first design, the one you see here. It’s alright, but I decided upon it because it allowed me to pace the next few pages panels more effectively…at least I think so…

Anyways, this page also had a few more marker errors than I wanted too. Since my work is all traditional and often done with markers, there tends to be slight blemishes from time to time. This one had a few more than normal. I tried to fix the major ones through the use of GIMP on my computer. That aside I suppose it’s in a presentable fashion now. Enjoy!

Quite a few characters on this page, took a little longer because of that. Hope that each page still feels fresh and dynamic.

Anyways I decided to name these guys the “Wind Bandits!” See what I did there! Like “Wind” from you know…..because I’m…..aw never mind. Honestly I just couldn’t think of a fitting name so I went with this one.

Meant to get this up yesterday, but I finished it just a little too late. Over the summer it appears that my Sunday update won’t work because I don’t have access to a scanner on the weekends. Since I normally do a large portion of the artwork on weekends, my best bet is to wait for Monday to come along and upload it then. I normally don’t work on Monday so that makes it even better time to get it done. However yesterday I did have to work, and it was too late after I was done with work to go scan the image…

That aside, I was pretty well pleased with how this one came out. Trying to work on my action shots and effects.

Fun side note: The *THUD* sound effect was supposed to be a capital “T” overlapping a capital “H” but I messed it up with the marker and now it’s just a backwards lower-case “h”…yeah…

Sorry about the delay, the page was done during last week, but I was going to update on Sunday like normal. Well Sunday rolled around and I forgot that I wouldn’t have access to a scanner all day Sunday…As for yesterday, I should have done it then, but I was too distracted by E3 and it was my first day of work and I work from supper to closing, which was late XP

But now it’s finally up. I hope I’ll get the next one done faster…

Ya! Update time!

This page has been in the works for what feels like such a long time. While it’s nice and all that this one is done and posted, sadly the next page is still a ways from being finished. College is over in three weeks (which is crazy to think about!), so I may or may not be able to get the next page before the semester is over with. After that though, I hope to have a lot more time to be able to put into it
